Types of Aid

 Grants

Grants are need-based awards, which usually do not require repayment as long as you complete the courses for which the grant was awarded. 

Student and Parent Loans

Reynolds Community College participates in the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program, offered through the Department of Education. Federal Stafford loans are low-interest, longterm loans.

Private Educational Loans

Students who need additional help meeting college expenses may be able to obtain a private or alternative educational loan.

Scholarships

Reynolds Community College offers a variety of scholarships to students with diverse interests and backgrounds.

Work Study

The Federal Work Study Program provides part-time jobs for students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses.

FAFSA for 2019-2020 is available October 1, 2018
