New Students

New students will be required to obtain a parking decal and ID card (downtown campus) to park on campus.  ID cards and parking decals may be obtained through the ID card centers located on each campus.  Please refer to the schedule below for dates and times during which ID cards can be obtained by students on all three (3) campuses. 

If you are unable to obtain your ID card and parking decal during one of the above dates, you may obtain your ID card from the ID card center during open hours weekly on Tuesday and Wednesday between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

If you experience any problems with your ID card allowing access into/from the DTC parking garage, please contact the Parking Manager located on the first level of the parking garage adjacent to the cashier booth or via telephone at (804) 523-5465. 

Returning Students

For those of you who are returning from either the Fall '04, Spring '05 and/or Summer '05 semester(s) and have already been issued an ID Card (Version 2.35), it will not be necessary to obtain a new ID card.  The ID card that you were previously issued will be re-activated upon your enrollment in at least one Downtown Campus class and payment for the Fall semester.  If you experience any problems with your ID card allowing access into/from the DTC parking garage, please contact the Parking Manager located on the first level of the parking garage adjacent to the cashier booth or via telephone at (804) 523-5465. 

However, an updated "Fall 2005" sticker will be required for your existing parking decal.  This can be obtained from either the security office or ID card center on your campus.

PLEASE NOTE:  At this time, these are the only scheduled dates and times during the fall semester that ID cards and parking decals will be created and distributed to students, faculty and staff.  Please make every effort to obtain an ID card during one of these scheduled dates/times.
