Purpose: This program prepares
current EMT – Intermediate students to bridge to an EMT at the Paramedic
level. Occupational Objectives:
National Registry of EMTs – Paramedic Admission Requirements: General college curricular admission Program Notes: Applicants must have completed the Emergency Medical
Services EMT – Intermediate Career Studies Certificate or hold a current
Virginia or NREMT – Intermediate certification and have the permission of the program head. Students desiring to further their emergency medical training and capabilities should consider the EMS
– Paramedic Associate of Applied Science degree after completing this certificate. |
