Service Club Looking for Officers
The HEART Service club gives students the opportunity to participate in a wide range of community service events and projects. HEART is looking for officers for the upcoming spring 2018 semester to help plan service projects for Reynolds students. Officers must be able to meet on Tuesdays from 12:15-1:00 and should be available the entire spring semester. If you enjoy serving your local community and want to find more ways to give back, apply for a position today. Stress Less! Beat the End of the Semester Stress
Students have a lot going on and Student Life wants to help you relax just in time for finals! Free relaxation activities will be available at both the Downtown and Parham Rd campuses. Here’s the schedule:
- Monday December 4 (Parham Rd – Burnette Hall Lobby) from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Monday December 4 (Downtown Campus – 1st Floor) from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Tuesday December 5 (Downtown Campus – 1st Floor) from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Wednesday December 6 (Parham Rd – Burnette Hall Lobby) from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Free Yoga Classes!
Come for relaxation, exercise or to get a good stretch! This class is perfect for beginners or those looking to deepen their yoga practice. This free, non-credit, fitness class is open to faculty, staff and students! It will take place Mondays from 11:30 am -12:30 pm on the Downtown Campus in room B109 and Wednesdays from 11:30 am-12:30 pm on the Parham Rd Campus in Georgiadis Hall room B010 in the fitness room.
Hip Hop Fusion Dance Class
Hip Hop Fusion is a 60 minute cardio dance fitness class that uses choreography as the base of the workout. Routines are set to hip hop, pop and R&B. This is a perfect class to have fun and get a little exercise in! This free, non-credit, fitness class is open to faculty, staff and students! It will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning September 19th from 2:30-3:30 pm on the Downtown Campus in room B109.
Spectrum LGBT Club Coffee Breaks (History LGBTQ)
Participate! Educate! Communicate!
Spectrum at Reynolds Community College is a club that is open to all students. Its purpose is to create a safe and hospitable learning environment for everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. The club is a social, educational, and advocacy group open to anyone who identifies as GLBTQ or Ally. We are holding coffee breaks every other from11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Their last coffee break of the semester will be December 6 and the discussion topic will be History LGBTQ.
